When you are looking to purchase a daybed for your home, it is important that you take into consideration what it is going to be used for.  For example, if it will be used for extra seating as well as an additional bed, it is important that you choose a daybed frame which is sturdy and will be able to withstand the abuse it is likely to receive from all the daily use a sofa gets.
