Trundle Beds For Kids

Trundle Beds For Kids, The Safer Option

Safety During A Sleepover

For many months now, Tom and Sue have been looking at ways to be sure that when their daughter has friends over to stay for a sleepover that they will be safe.

Originally they were considering purchasing a bunk bed for her room, but they were concerned about what would happen if one of them fell off during the night.

Then they found a solution that is not only safe but still does not take up a large amount of space in their daughter's room.

What they have decided to buy is one of the many trundle beds for kids that are readily available.

Two Smalls Make A Big

A trundle bed is made up of two beds, one of which is slightly smaller than the other and is on rollers or casters and fits underneath the main bed.  What this means is that not only do you have the benefit of having two beds available as separate units, but you can also put them together and use them as one big one.

Girl-Talk Privacy

The great thing about the trundle bed is that the main part of the bed that their daughter will be sleeping in every night can be used as a seating area as well during the day.  So as she gets older and has friends come over, they will have room to just hang out together and listen to music and talk about boys ... and they can do this all in the privacy of her own room.

As Tom and Sue's daughter is growing up and will soon be reaching her teenage years, they felt that a trundle bed was the ideal solution.  The daybed itself will fit their daughter at any age and then as she gets older, they can simply change the covering on the bed to a daybed comforter set that reflects her interests as she ages.

The Win-Win Solution

However, the biggest benefit they have found in buying one of the trundle beds for kids for their daughter's room is the safety aspect.  No longer do they need to worry that their daughter or one of her friends is going to fall out of the top bunk during the night and get seriously injured.  With a trundle bed, the bed they will be using is on the same level as a normal bed.

The trundle daybed gives safety for the children during a sleepover and gives peace of mind to Tom and Sue.  Plus, their daughter gets a beautiful bed which also provides attractive seating space.  It's a win-win situation for all of them.
